Declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1949, and a national park in 1994, Gorumar National Park is famous for one-horned Rhinos.
Comprising of 79.45 sq km including the upper reserve of Tondu wild life sanctuary of Chapramari, the park has savanna grasslands and shrub lands with deciduous forests of the tropical and subtropical moist broadleaf forests drained by Moorty and Jaldhaka.
