Murti Dooars

Murti is located beside River Murti and is between Gorumara and Chapramari Widlife Sanctuary. Murti is around 8 kms from Chalsa and around 9 km from Malbazar. Murti is famous for its pictursque views of river and landscape. Usually Murti in Dooars is covered in a day along with Jhalong and Bindu Excursion. Thus a day trip is required for doing an excursion trip to Jhalong, Bindu and Murti.

Murti is loacated near Chapramari Forest. Chapramari Forest is around 30 km from Lataguri and 10 km from Chalsa.  Chapramari sanctuary is spread over 9.6 sq km on the banks of River Murti and provided a breathtaking view of forests drained by rivers Teesta and Neora against the backdrop of Kanchendzonga and other peaks of Himalayas.
